Subway Station Bulvar Perova

Design project of the metro station "Bulvar Perova".
My personal author’s vision of the future metro station in Troyeshchina.
Ukraine, Kiev.

The design of the station is made in the style of "Minimalism" with a slight emphasis on modern European architectural styles and a minimal emphasis on the Gothic style. When working on the design, the main goal for me was to create a beautiful, bright, but at the same time convenient station with an inexpensive design for costs. Facing station made only two types of white and brown granite tiles. The edges of the platforms, the exit steps are made of unpolished granite for the safety of passengers. The ceiling has the shape of a "Star Arch" (lunette) with sharp ribs. Such forms of arches were very often previously used in large churches, chapels.
