Highly detailed 3D model Gotha T57 tram car.
Produced from 1957 to 1961. Trams were in operation both in Germany and on the territory of the former USSR.
These tram cars were used in the following cities in Ukraine:
Lviv, Zhitomir, Vinnytsia, and Evpatoria.
Track width 1000 mm.
I'd long dreamed of creating a model of this tram, and it was only after many years, on my third attempt, that I succeeded. For me, it evokes memories of my childhood, of vacations in the small Ukrainian town of Evpatoria. It was one of the most challenging models I've ever created in 3D. I spent six months creating it.

- This model, the wagon bogie is not worked out in detail. Undercarriage equipment is not modelled.
- The equipment on the roof has also not been fully developed for optimization purposes.
- This model has two color options: Evpatoria, Vinnitsa and Naumburg. Body textures has are resolution 4096x4096. The remaining textures are 2048x2048 in size.
- All parts of the model contain UV-mapping.
- This model has 75 materials and 371 textures. All materials use the standard "Principled BSDF" shader.
- This model has almost real dimensions.
- The origins of all parts of the model are located at 0,0,0. But there are EXCEPTIONS: Doors and controller handles. Made for animation.
- You can open the tram doors individually. To do this, change the "Transformation Orientation" setting in Blender from "Global" to "Normal". After this, you can return to "Global" again.
- This model has texture overlaps! Almost all parts have UV mapping and overlaps because so many objects are duplicated and mirrored.
This is done for the sake of economy and optimization, since there is no need to make a separate unwrap and texture for each identical part.
- All details of the model are named.
- This model is a specially designed hybrid, a composite of various similar tram models (T57, B57, B59, and similar variants).
The arrangement of some parts is asymmetrical and differs. Versions from different countries were used.
This model supports rendering in both Cycles and EEVEE.
Model is suitable for use in game engines.
